Two days and three roofs later

The tips of my ears are feeling it now - ultra violet rays. Roofing this past weekend was great - capooling really is more friendly. Schumanns have a problem with lateness. As headlights shone in my window at 4 a.m. I really wished I hadn't hit that snooze button. But I was glad I had slept in my clothes.

I love it went people surprise you. Some mornings you just don't have any idea if it's going to be a great day or a drag your feet day. Most of the time it doesn't even matter what happens, it's still what you make of it. Other people can't tell the difference. But when you're not really expecting much, and things turn out nicely - those are the best days.

Taking 22 steps won't get you too far. My room is about 22 steps away from the computer. Seems sufficient for now. Tomorrow reality will inform me that that's not much to be proud of.

Seeing reality means seeing responsibility, yuck. I have yet to learn to appreciate responsibility. I thought THAT was something that would come with time. Apparently not, unfortunately not.

hmmm i tend to associate responsibility with growing up. or maybe its not just me but the world does. so i'm not a huge fan. it's been determined i'll never grow up.....so y do i have responsibility?? man, if it wasn't for that i'd be so far fom here so fast!!

Don't you hate it when you're brushing your hair and then you feel a burning pain on your ear but you forgot that it was sunburned?

I seem to be the opposite when it comes to looking at a day. I don't wake up and think, "Will it be a good day?" or, "Will it be a bad day?" I always seem to look back on the day. I occasionally have some bad ones (this week it was Monday) and I come home feeling yucky (hehe Kevin, that is a neat word - lol), but then there is something that usually makes it better, a phone call or something. Because I dont really think much about a day before it occurs, it's true what you said, "when you're not really expecting much, and things turn out nicely - those are the best days."
